“I’m a self confessed yoga addict with a love of the great outdoors and a serious surfing habit.  When I’m not teaching yoga you’ll find me yomping around on the fells, wild swimming and sea kayaking.  On a personal level, yoga and meditation has helped me to conquer depression and find a zest for life, it keeps me strong and healthy in mind, body and spirit.  The yoga I teach is practical and accessible and I want to pass on the skills I’ve learned to everyone. “ 

Lizzy gained her yoga teacher qualification with Zenways in 2015 and has been teaching regularly ever since in a variety of settings; sharing the yoga love with people from all walks of life and all age groups including athletes, professionals, NHS staff, older adults, boy scouts and people with learning disabilities. 

Lizzy continues her lifelong yoga and meditation journey with varied training and retreats, learning from other yoga professionals and Zen teachers along the way. 

Lizzy's Class

A combination of mindful movement, yoga postures, pranayama (breathwork) and guided relaxation.  Her intention is to guide you towards increased strength, flexibility and balance in your body and to nurture stillness and contentment in your mind. Our yoga practice together aims to bring us into the present moment and guide us home to our true nature. 

Lizzy will help you to start where YOU are (rather than where you think you ought to be), it’s non-competitive, invigorating and we like to laugh too.  Postures can be adapted and modifications offered to enable you to enjoy yoga at your pace and to find that all important balance between effort and ease.
