Due to Covid 19 our schedule has been reduced to accomadate the latest safety guidence from the goverment and Yogas governing bodies. Power of Yoga will explore and develop our programme on a regular basis, taking your safety & student demand into account. Power of Yoga would like to reassure you that your safety is paramount and protocols are in place.

Our class size range from 5-10 to help give you the personal attention you deserve. All sessions are accessible to beginners in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere no competition or pressure.

Monday Morning Yoga

A great way to start your week exploring the body and mind through breathing, in movement, stillness and relaxation. Hatha based yoga practice using core strengthening exercises, vinyasa flows and balancing poses.

Align & Refine

Incorpararing Max Stroms' strategic breathing, dealing directly with stress, anxiety and sleeplessness. In this breath based practise you will go into greater detail learning postures through anatomy and game changing verbal cues. Ideal for experienced yogis who want to perfect their practise and beginners who to gain a deeper understanding the postures from scratch.

Monday Morning Yoga

A combination of mindful movement, yoga postures, pranayama (breathwork) and guided relaxation.Our intention is to guide you towards increased strength, flexibility and balance in your body and to nurture stillness and contentment in your mind. Our yoga practice together in the present moment, it’s non-competitive, invigorating and we like to laugh too. Find that all important balance between effort and ease.

Hatha Flow

From Worrier to Warrior. A gentle blend of Hatha Yoga flow, Yin and Yoga Nidra working with the breath mind and body so you can find your breathing space leaving you feeling calm energised and focused.

Align Refine & Flow

A breath based practise that deals directly with stress, anxiety and insomnia. With focus on alignment for a safer, stronger, deeper practise. A blend of yoga flow, postures, balance, meditation and relaxation. The result should always be that we create length and space in the body, achieving that in a safe and supported way, using muscle energy and core stability to protect the joints. Find your centre and the mind will follow opening the body in a safe way.Inspired by Max Stroms Inner Axis

True Beginner

Yoga for complete and total Beginners. Start here and build your strength and confidence. In sessions we will explore the many different aspects of the Yoga. Gently exploring yoga poses, beginner yoga sequences, mini teachings on foundational yoga poses guiding you into a stronger, safer practise.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga for the over 60s & those who want to take it just a little bit easier. Inspired by Max Stroms Inner Axis, bringing movement back into the body with focus on alignment for safe stronger practise. Breath based exercises to reduce stress and anxiety. Due to the nature of the class we will use chairs, props and cushions to allow you to get the maximum benefit from your yoga practise.

Original Hatha

Classic alignment based Hatha Yoga to invigorate the body, uplift the mind and bring out the Yoga in you. Mixed level class for beginners and continuing students. Classes combine postures, sequences, breath awareness,mindfulness and deep relaxation.

Power Yoga

Body centred for optimal health. Increase strength, focus and flexibility Suitable for those who want to increase strength both in the body and mind. Using core strengthening exercises, vinyasa flows and balancing poses.

Gentle Flow

This is an all levels gentle yoga flow to decompress, destress, and FEEL GOOD. Gentle yoga is a great way to slow down, connect with your body, and calm your mind.

Saturday Morning Yoga

In our Saturday Hatha flow class, various yoga postures are linked together in sequences to create a flowing practice that connects each movement with the breath creating a union between mind and body.

A perfect way to start your Sunday morning with a combination hatha yoga and targeted exercise to sculpt and tone those stubborn areas.
