Yoga found me at the gym where I was giving my back issues some attention in my late 30s.  From then on I began practising every week with the same teacher for years until it was time to move onto another one, who went much deeper.

I have had and still have many wonderful teachers, often discovered through The Sheffield Yoga School, Walkley and my 300 hr tt was taught by Debbie Farrar, Feel Now Yoga, Cumbria.

The roots of my actual teaching is with children, which stemmed from my well established Fun Drum music sessions, in Sheffield (founded 2011).

Since qualifying in 2017 as a Children’s Yoga Teacher I have been working with home educated, school (special and mainstream) and support groups and often offer Family Yoga Sessions at Festivals and events. Children's Yoga led me to teach Teen Yoga which then led me to take the exciting step to train as a Sensible Yoga Teacher in October 2019.

I trained in a Somatic Yoga style, with a therapeutic focus. Yoga philosophies are extremely helpful if not vital to my life on and off the mat and I aim to share some of these with students throughout our practice together. I am contantly learning more from courses, workshops and other teachers which I am excited to thread into my classes.
