We offer Beginners, General Mixed Ability, Max Stroms' Inner Axis, Gentle Yoga for over 60s 70s & 80s, Hatha flow Yin Yoga, Zen Hatha Flow, Pregnancy Yoga and Workshops. Our class size range from 5-10 to help give you the personal attention you deserve . All sessions are accessible to beginners in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere no competition or pressure.

Monday Morning Yoga

A great way to start your week exploring the body and mind through breathing, in movement, stillness and relaxation. Hatha based yoga practice using core strengthening exercises, vinyasa flows and balancing poses.

From Worrier to Warrior. A gentle blend of Hatha Yoga flow,Yin and Yoga Nidra working with the breath mind and body so you can find your breathing space leaving you feeling calm energised and focused.

Max Stroms' Inner Axis

Breath to Heal: Grace, Strength and Healing. Deals directly with stress,anxiety and sleeplessness. It produces a level of fitness that makes you feel better, sleep better and therefore function at a higher level,in your relationships, life and work. Inner Axis include breath based yoga movement and mindfulness and are accessible for all levels.

Zen Hatha Yoga  

A combination of mindful movement, yoga postures, pranayama (breathwork) and guided relaxation. Her intention is to guide you towards increased strength, flexibility and balance in your body and to nurture stillness and contentment in your mind. Our yoga practice together aims to bring us into the present moment and guide us home to our true nature. Lizzy will help you to start where YOU are (rather than where you think you ought to be), it’s non-competitive, invigorating and we like to laugh too. Postures can be adapted and modifications offered to enable you to enjoy yoga at your pace and to find that all important balance between effort and ease. Suitable for all

Inspired by Max Stroms Inner Axis. Exploring the body and mind through breathing, in movement, stillness and relaxation. A blend of Hatha Yoga Flow, postures, balances and relaxation. With focus on alignment for a safer, stronger, deeper practise. The result should always be that we create length and space in the body, achieving that in a safe and supported way, using muscle energy and core stability to protect the joints. Find your centre and the mind will follow opening the body in a safe way.

Original Hatha Yoga

Classic alignment based Hatha Yoga to invigorate the body, uplift the mind and bring out the Yoga in you. Mixed level class for beginners and continuing students. Classes combine postures, sequences, breath awareness,mindfulness and deep relaxation.

All our sessions are accessible to yoga, but still don't feel like trying our mixed ability classes ? In sessions we will explore the many different aspects of Yoga. Gaining n confidence to join in out mixed classes or stay a little while longer whatever suits you.

Yoga Gentle for Over 60s 70s & 80s

Gentle Yoga for the over 60s & those who want to take it just a little bit easier. Bringing movement back into the body, in this class will introduce you to the many aspects of yoga. You will learn to explore the body and mind again through breathing, in movement, stillness and relaxation. Due to the nature of the class we will use chairs, props and cushions to allow you to get the maximum benefit from your yoga practise. No pressure, No competition just come along and enjoy.

Power Yoga

Body centred for optimal health. Increase strength, focus and flexibility Suitable for those who want to increase strength both in the body and mind. Using core strengthening exercises, vinyasa flows and balancing poses. Not suitable for beginners

Come along all you twin hearted ones and join our pregnancy yoga class in the beautiful Power of Yoga Studio. This is a special time in your life where you'll want to nuture your body, build confidence and begin to bond with your baby. Classes will help you stay active, relieve anxieties, improve sleep, chat with other mums, prepare for birth and learn effective breathing techniques.

Bookmyclass online booking

Monthly Membership Packages are booked and paid for online via our secure sites Bookmyclass and GoCardles. On your first booking with us you will need to set up a GoCardless account to manage your direct debit (at no extra cost to you) New Starter Pack & 8 Class Pass can use GoCardless or Paypal. These are our preferred method of booking and payment. 

  • Secure Booking & Payments via Bookmyclass & GoCardless. On your first booking for your monthly membership package you will need  to set up a Gocardless account to manage your direct debit.
  • Cash is accepted for Drop Ins ONLY cheques made payable to Louise Power Business Account (bank details available on request).
  • Attendance / Changing a class:  If you are unable to attend and want to change a class Power of Yoga requires at least 24 hours notice. You can change your class online by logging onto your account. Simple step by step instruction given below. You can also view Enrolment Process Monthly Membership page/tab giving you a visual step by step  guide to enrole and how to change a session. 
  • The system is programmed to lock out 24hours before your class which results in you losing that class. Any change of class / catch up sessions must be taken before your 6 month contract expires. 
  • Non attendance: will also result in forfeiting that class.
  • Please Consider Others  if you no longer require your space PLEASE CANCEL as soon as possible so someone else can take your place from the waiting list.
  • Holidays: Please inform us of any holidays or simply cancel your session for the duration of your holiday.
  • Month of August Power of Yoga reduces its timetable in August due to so many students and teachers taking holidays. We aim to provide enough session to cope with demand.

How to Change a Class 

Power of Yoga offers a number of packages different rules will apply:

Warrior 1: One Session per week 

These sessions can be taken anytime over your 24week period , so if you are on holiday you can do two sessions the following week. Once your 24 sessions have been used up you will have to MAKE PURCHASE of a new package.

  • Log in
  • View your schedule on screen.
  • Tick the box next to the session you want to cancel.
  • Press the Remove button, this needs to be done 24hrs before to enable the space to be created.
  • Go to the calendar and select the session you want to change it for dependant on availability. One one session allowed per week.
  • The system sends an email out to you (the booking person) and Power of Yoga.
Warrior 11 and Warrior 111, New Starter Pack & 8 Class Pass: Unlimited access to our schedule. 
  • Log In
  • View all your selected session on the screen
  • Tick the box next to the session you want to cancel.
  • Press the Remove button, this needs to be done 24hrs before to enable the space to be created.
  • Go to the calendar and select the session you want to change it for dependant on availability.
  • The system sends an email out to you (the booking person) and Power of Yoga.


Payment for workshop can be made via GoCardless. You don't need an account you can do it as a one off transaction using a credit or debit card.

Power of Yoga requests that all students are respectful allowing spaces to be created if no longer required.

Term and Conditions

Return / Refund Policy  Payment for all classes must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled class date to ensure your mat. Cancellations within 7 days will not be refunded. Cancellations prior to 7 days will receive a credit towards a future class based on availability and similar cost.

Privacy & Security Policy: Commitment to Data Security Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from our sites allow you to opt out of further mailings. Power of Yoga will never sell trade, rent, exchange or otherwise share your personal information with any other person, company or organisation.

Cancellation of Classes: Occasionally due to sickness or other reasons beyond our control, classes may need to be cancelled. Power of Yoga has a number of substitute yoga but if one cant be found due to late notice, we will notify you, where possible, before the class starts. Power of Yoga takes responsibility for these cancellations and will endeavour to offer you an alternative.

Adverse Weather Conditions class/ classes will be cancelled if deem unsafe for teachers and students travelling to the studio. Power of Yoga will inform you prior to the start of the session.
